Phenomenon

I think it’s funny how people my age like these new rappers
Really y’all like the producers
Bumpin’ to those beats
These rappers have no lyrical ability
This shit is killin’ me yea

First thing I wanna talk about
Rappers in the game that are balling out
How I get my style from a different route
Lyrics on the page yea I scrawl them out

I don’t ever freestyle in the booth
When I write song its a mile of truth
Industries tryna kill off all the youth
Use music make their brains into soup

So they can take money from all of kids
Get a nice chain from the mall while they hid
Get a new pool in the hall of the crib
Not like that at all where I live
Not callin’ ahead
Not callin’ a friend
When I reach the top they gon fall in the end
It’s all a new trend, it’s all a new blend
And when I get there they won’t even have a cent, yea

Why is it so gone
They were so wrong
Phenomenon

You’re playing the pawn
Don’t give up on

Next thing I wanna talk about
The rappers that inspired what I’m all about
The rappers who inspired what come out my mouth
The music that I’m bumpin’ when I’m at my house

L.O.G.I.C
You already know that I fuck with G
And I really fuck the boy LD
When I was depressed I had Kid Cudi

When I was zonin’ I had makonnen
And I sing all night franky ocean
In my car I play Post Malone and
Fuckin’ with this new dude, name is Token

Just signed onto Hopsin’s label
I will too if I’m ever able
Yea I’d be so fuckin’ grateful
But in this life it is not a fable

Why is it so gone
They were so wrong
Phenomenon

You’re playing the pawn
Don’t give up on
Phenomenon

Phenomenon
Phenomenon
Phenomenon
Phenomenon

Last verse so I’m makin’ it count
Wanna talk ’bout who I am throughout
I’m an artist choose to allow
Rappers seein’ me through a cloud of doubt

And it’s such a shame that they don’t know my name
I got a claim to fame
’Cause we are not the same
I’m in a different lane
I’m dropping different flames
I gotta different aim
I came to change the game

I wanna wake up all the people
I wanna shake up every easel
They’re gonna hate to see a sequel
But I’m so fly like an eagle

Everyone is created equal
Making it illegal, that is so medieval
Bro I am so good at retrieval
When I join the game call it an upheaval, yea

Why is it so gone
They were so wrong
Phenomenon

You’re playing the pawn
Don’t give up on
